'The start of a 365 day journey' - card

#birthday #techniques #patterned paper Need a birthday card? Well here is a card that quick and easy to make and customise. It is so easy to make that I was able to bunch of them, each of which is slightly different. I'll be showing you four cards I made using slightly different techniques... These four cards are very similar in style, just slightly different methods used depending on the effect I required. For each card, I used a 5 1/2 x 4 inch notecard as the base. For the background of the card, I used 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 inch piece of patterned paper. The patterned paper I used were all from the brand 'The Craft Stall' from The Reject Shop (you can use any papers you want!). I adhered the pieces of paper to the card using double-sided tape. 'Your birthday is especially sweet' - card

#birthday #sweet #high tea #kaisercraft Hey everyone! I have been wanting to make a project with Kaisercraft's high tea collection but I struggled to think of a design until *BAM* sudden inspiration! XD I got a bunch of Kaisercraft stuff from a friend for my birthday (my friend's know my crafty obsession all too well...) including some gorgeous kraft lace! I just had to use it as soon as I could! I also got the 'High Tea' papers and collectables in the goodie pack I won for my entry for Kaisercraft's April Blog Challenge! I used a 6 x 4.25 inch Kraft notecard for the base. The strips of patterned paper are 7/8 inch x 2 3/4 inch, I picked the papers and arranged them so that there was a balance of colour on the card front. The sentiment was also from the paper pad; I decided to make it stand out more by adding a strip of white cardstock behind it to create a thin white border around the sentiment.
