'Happy New Year 2019' - card

Hey everyone! So this year has just flown by! Here's a card I made for the new year celebrations. I actually used papers from a Christmas collection to make this card.


For the base of the card I used a 6 x 4 1/4 inch white notecard. Then I cut a 6 x 2 3/8 inch rectangle out of black cardstock and a  6 x 2 1/4 inch rectangle out of white cardstock and adhered them such that the white piece was centred on the black piece using double-sided tape.  

Next, using some patterned paper I cut a 6 x 2 1/8 inch rectangle. Then I stamped the sentiment 'celebrate' on the centre of the patterned paper rectangle using versamark ink. Then I used some white embossing powder an heat set the sentiment. Then I adhered this rectangle to the centre of the black and white rectangles. Then I adhered this to the centre of the notecard.


To finish I stamped the sentiment 'happy new year' just under the middle rectangles and added some white pearls.

'Anniversary flowers' - card

I thought I’d share a card that is quite simplistic and elegant. I think it’s perfect for an anniversary or wedding card. *** For this card, I used a white 5 1/4 inch square notecard for the base of the card. I cut a 5 1/8 inch square piece from some plain white cardstock to form the panel of the card. To give this card a bit of dimension, I decided that I should add a thin piece of foam to the back of the panel. I cut a foam piece down to a 5 inch square and adhered it to the back of the panel. 'To know you is to love you' - card

#NativeBreeze #FauxStitching #AustralianFlora Hi all, here's my first papercraft post for 2020. Yes, it's already pretty much 1/4 of the way through the year, but better late than never! So on a recent trip to Kaisercraft, I saw the 'Native Breeze' collection and thought I just had to have it; it's gorgeous! It really showcases the beauty of Australian flora! I only used one patterned paper sheet of the project, but I definitely will be scrapbooking with this paper (hopefully soon)! *** First I cut out an 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 inch piece of black cardstock, scored along the middle at 4 1/8 inches and folded it in half to create a notecard that is 5 7/8 x 4 1/8 inches.
